I had a very enjoyable stay, as always. This charming, well-maintained place is a delight to visit, featuring amazing food that enhances the experience. the quiet location is perfect, being close to restaurants and the town centre in a friendly area.

We enjoyed a lovely room that was nicely furnished and comfortable, complete with a balcony. the location was just right and really convenient, especially for getting to the train station. 😊.

Breakfast included a delightful fresh fruit salad, followed by a warm savoury tart and pears. the location is fantastic, situated in a charming area right next to the Sunday morning markets and close to the city center, making it very convenient. It's perfectly comfortable, adding to the overall experience.

The old Spanish-style house with its high ceilings and stunning balcony views made me feel like I was in a picturesque Southern European villa. The hosts were incredibly kind and welcoming, ensuring that my room was tidy and comfortable. The daily breakfast spread of cereals, fruit, yogurt, toast, and delicious coffee was a delightful way to start the day. The location was perfect and the garden was simply beautiful. The owners' efforts to restore this 114-year-old gem were truly commendable. Despite a few minor inconveniences, such as difficulty finding the place and some steep stairs, I couldn't fault the overall experience. The bed was unbelievably comfortable, and the sitting room and balcony provided a cozy space to relax. I will definitely be returning to Cumquat House for another memorable stay. I highly recommend this unique and charming accommodation.
